Taylor Villahermosa

Data Scientist, MLB

Taylor Villahermosa is in her third season as a Data Scientist at Major League Baseball. In her role, she develops machine learning models to support fan engagement across MLB platforms, including Statcast Leaderboards on Baseball Savant and MLB Play. Previously, Taylor was a data scientist in procurement software optimization at SAP and was a R&D analytics intern for UCSB baseball. She earned a B.S. in Statistics and Data Science from University of California, Santa Barbara. In her free time, Taylor enjoys doing arts and crafts and playing slowpitch softball.
