Nicole Lopes

Data Engineer, Houston Astros

Nicole Lopes joined the Astros in 2021 as a Data Engineer. She currently works on large scale data ingestion, supporting all of the departments in baseball operations. Prior to joining the Astros, Nicole earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronatical University, where she competed for their golf team. She also worked as an R&D Intern for Callaway Golf, then as a Data Analyst for Sports Business Journal Atlas. In her off time, Nicole is an avid pickleball player and continues to compete in golf tournaments.
