Melissa Boswell is the VP of Science and Research at the Joe Gibbs Human Performance Institute, where she leads the human performance research vision. With a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University, Melissa specializes in human movement biomechanics and pioneering innovative methods for quantifying movement as a biomarker. Her work bridges bioengineering, computer science, and psychology to advance health technology. Melissa's research has been published in high-impact journals and recognized with the World Congress of Biomechanics Young Researcher Award. She is a member of the International Society of Biomechanics and a Women in Sports Data Fellow, actively promoting diversity and equity in sports analytics.
